Delivery & Returns
Orders can be placed through our website, via email and over the phone, please note we are not available to answer our studio phone at all times. Items held in stock ordered before 1pm GMT are dispatched from SHY the next working day. After placing your order you will receive receipt by email. A further confirmation email will be sent on completion and dispatch of your order, including a tracking code so you can track your item online and follow its progress. Shipping guide times are as follows:
UK Mainland: 1-3 Days
Europe: 3-7 Days
Rest of the World: 5-12 Days
These estimated shipping times are to be used as a guide only commencing from the date of dispatch and are size and weight dependant. SHY is not responsible for any delays caused by the customs clearance process of overseas orders. Please note we do not ship all our products overseas, if your country is not available to select during checkout please contact us to discuss your delivery options.
Made to Order
Our products are generally made to order. We sometimes carry a limited stock of our smaller items but these are also produced to order in 4-6 weeks. If your product of choice needs making before delivery and estimated production timescale will be stated in the product description. Furniture and larger items typically take a little longer, usually 6-10 weeks. If you have specific requirements for a delivery and would like to know if your order can be delivered sooner please contact us.
We regularly work with clients to produce specific variations of our products, typically dimensional variations to suit a particular space or different environment. Variations are made at our discretion and may be subject to a design fee, project dependant. To discuss a bespoke solution or project please get in touch.
Shipping rates are based on the overall size and weight of the order and the delivery destination, delivery is calculated at checkout. All orders are sent by either royal mail or trusted courier services. If your order is shipped internationally via royal mail we recommend you track the order with your national postal service too. Use the same tracking number we supply you and they will provide further details on your shipment. A signature will be requested upon receipt of delivery.
We work hard to ensure goods always arrive in perfect condition. However in the unlikely event that your goods arrive damaged please contact us as soon as possible. If you are not completely satisfied with your order you can return it for an exchange or refund within 14 days from receipt of delivery. Returns are only accepted for items purchased directly from SHY Design Studio. If your item was purchased from one of our stockists please contact them directly. Items returned for refund or exchange must be returned in new, unused and re-sellable condition, with the original box and any other packaging. Returns that are damaged or altered may not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer. Unfortunately we cannot cover the cost of returning unwanted products to us unless they are faulty, please ask for proof of posting when returning items for you records. Please not made to order and bespoke products cannot be returned unless faulty.
Tax & Duties
Overseas (outside the EU) orders may be subject to import fees, duties or taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches its destination country. We have no control over additional customs charges and as such, these charges are paid by the purchaser. All orders are shipped DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid).
Prices shown are in British Pound Sterling, as is the final bill. The amount shown on your bank statement will appear in your home currency.
